Experience Miami Beach at the Art Cafe

Art Cafe.jpg

At the Art Cafe, 427 Jefferson Avenue (corner of 5th & Jefferson) no table is the same and no detail is left undone. The crowd is eclectic and fresh, the live music is unassuming and the service is suitable for a king. Described as "gastronomically elegant," owner Dorian Romano has indeed created an experience that feels like a kaleidoscope of Italian heritage infused with Victorian, Neo-Classic and Deco influences. The Sun Post and the Herald have applied every descriptive adjective to describe the presentation, so we will keep it simple. This is a fantastic start to an evening and a brilliant place for guests looking to capture a piece of the Miami Beach experience. The Tapas and wine selections are elaborate and reasonable in price. Drinks average $10-$11 and entrees fluctuate in the 20's and 30's The meals are said to be "suitable for framing" and so too is the espresso martini. Kudos to Dorian and his staff for their brilliance, The Art Cafe South Beach is a winner.

Gotcha real nice blog, great reading for your visitors.

Sadly, the Art Cafe has gone out of business. I'm sorry to see them close. Dorian was a cool guy.

It's tough to open a new restaurant in South Beach. Art Cafe gave it their best shot.
