Florida Gator fans showed up to support the national championship men's basketball team by doing the gator chomp with their arms on the lawn of the White House, where the Florida Gators were honored today. Several other NCAA championship teams were also in attendance according to The Miami Herald.

President Bush pointed out that his brother, Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, was a big fan. In addition, he said the captain of the team, Adrian Moss, is from his home state of Texas. The Gators championship run included victories in their final 11 contests.
